golf reminds me of my old gf's

one hole at a time

some of them were cruel

The great course designer A.W. Tillinghast used to say that a golf hole is much like a person. The Teeing area and fairway analogous to a person's body~~~and all that green grass pretty much the same~~~but what distinguishes a hole is it's green~~~much like a person's face~~~and dear old golfin'great Bobby Jones saw golf as a metaphor of life~~~as he called the game of golf~~~life~~~without the blood and guts. I wonder if either of them ever thought of their old gf's~~~while looking at a green~~~or~~~watching where a shot they hit ended up?
